This continuing education course covers the practical application of breathing technique in minute detail.  The emphasis is  achieving  optimal breath rate with diaphragmatic function. The backbone of Soundmoves therapy is resonant frequency breathing used to help  conditions from anxiety, depression and burn-out to hypertension, pain management and inflammation. The technique integrates with postural re-alignment using a variety of somatic techniques. We take advantage of the general inhibition of sympathetic signalling to muscle tone that results from the breathing. It’s a very practical program that brings together multiple aspects of Yoga TherapyPlease try  the sample video lesson below or you can read in detail about Soundmoves here!

25 years Yoga teaching experience

M. Sc, C-IAYT, ERYT-500 Noah Mckenna

Noah Mckenna developed Soundmoves after two decades as a teacher trainer and therapist in the Yoga hotspot of Mysore, India. Soundmoves brings clinical experience and cutting edge research to the table infusing multiple healing modalities into a seamless formula. As an instructor Noah has the gift of distilling information and conveying it with simplicity and depth. The lesson designs reflect a coherent structure that comes from decades in the field. Noah's clinical research on the therapeutic effects of Soundmoves Yoga happens at the University of Adelaide School of Medicine in the discipline of Psychiatry. His clinical work tracks heart-mind connectivity when yoga practices are performed at specific frequencies. Heart rate variability is central to this work and intersects with blood pressure and brain wave rhythms.

Noah is hands down the best teacher I've ever come across. I feel so incredibly grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in his 200h YTT in Goa, and will be taking many more of his courses in the future. Noah is literally a living encyclopedia for all things anatomy and philosophy

You have to try at least once. It's so soothing to let yourself be guided by this special music that immerses you into an inner trance. And Noah's voice, like an angel, that helps us reconnect as soon as the mind escapes into thoughts. Noah discreetly gives a multitude of details that answer my questions sometimes even before I even wonder them. A pure moment of peace and happiness.
