This continuing education course covers the practical application of breathing technique in minute detail. The emphasis is achieving optimal breath rate with diaphragmatic function. The backbone of Soundmoves therapy is resonant frequency breathing used to help conditions from anxiety, depression and burn-out to hypertension, pain management and inflammation. The technique integrates with postural re-alignment using a variety of somatic techniques. We take advantage of the general inhibition of sympathetic signalling to muscle tone that results from the breathing. It’s a very practical program that brings together multiple aspects of Yoga Therapy. Please try the sample video lesson below or you can read in detail about Soundmoves here!
